The paintwork came about through a conversation and is based on an old fable ‘the widow of the web’. Basically the story goes she is trapped in the web until someone frees her. The widow herself can be found under the back light and is painted in a special paint that glows when light falls on it. The bike has won three trophies at our rallies since it has been done. The first two was at our 1st National Rally at Bordon. It was its first outing in its new livery as I only finished building it at 1.00 O’clock in the morning (by torchlight) on the day of the rally. It also won again this year at the AGM in Anglia 2008.

Iron Maiden, this is Bloggs bike as buiilt by Acidman, and painted by Jed. there are no photo's available at the moment as the bike is being rebuilt with every intention of it being ready for the International..... So some of you will be wondering why it's here! As many old hands will know Iron Maiden won prizes in Sweden and narrowly missed out on prizes at the South West Custom and Classic on her debut outing, most were totally absorbed in the paintwork, however for those that looked a little closer there is also some very clever engineering reducing the overal height of the bike to fit Jo's not so tall stature!!! Unfourtunatly 6 months later whilst riding on Club business Jo was involved in a bad accident damaging Maiden and breaking Jo's leg very badly so consequently Jo has been confined to 4 wheeled vehicles for the last 2 years.... BUT they are both coming back to rejoin us at the International on Jo's first ride in 2 years and Iron Maiden's return to the road... Up to you, but I am voting for this one!!!

N-REE is the name we have given the bike because of the Reg Plate N65 REE. N-REE is a D1 classic Model.
The reason for the re-vamp of the bike from its original paint work was because I wanted to make it personal to myself.
I have always been a fan of Thin Lizzy and Phil Lynott was a big idol of mine.
I wanted to do something of a tribute to him.
The art work was designed by myself and the work was done by Artimagination. I feel that the spirit o Phil Lynott has been captured.
The leatherwork and stitching to the seats was done byChaos Customs.
The frame was powder coated and all the shiny bits re-chromed.
The rest of the bike was re-built by myself with help from Styx and John Hopkins.
Recently the bike won Best in Show prize.

VN1700 VOYAGER
The flagship of the VN range, the most beautiful VN ever built (you may leave offerings at its wheels) This one is owned by PTR is possibly the first sold in England. It is beautiful to ride, very nimble and goes round corners much better than a Nomad. There is enough luggage space to carry a small four star hotel (with restaurant). The only problem I have with it is getting it up the stairs at night, and back down in the morning (what we do up there is none of your business!).
love is; silver/black metallic, ABS, Audio system, lights everywhere, Kawasaki new throttle system,Bridgestone tyre's VN1700 Voyager.
love PTR
